The city has about 18,000 people in it and isn't too large. It's easy enough to get around on foot without a map. The people I've met here have been laid back and easy going. And it's Autumn. The leaves are changing color and falling to the ground. I kept stepping on them to the way to the hotel. I just love how falling leaves make that satisfying crunch, crunch. We don't get much of that in Houston.
The weather is chilly and windy. I took a few
buses and a train to get here and it was cold, cold, cold. I haven't felt so cold since - well, the last time I was in Sweden.
I was able to check into my hotel early. I wanted to get over to the church in time for the Sunday
services, which brings me to my next post...
