Spread the Joy!

While in Sweden, Anna, Jessi, Anja and I were trying to come up with a way to say thank you to Jenny for everything she has done - both during the past two weeks and over the years through her music, her words, and her kindness. What would be a good present to convey that sentiment? We brainstormed and came up with a few ideas. We came up with ideas we liked, but the ideas felt like they were too small or were things she already had in abundance.

So, how to say thank you for all the joy we've been given? By passing that joy onward to others, of course!

We liked the idea of giving a donation to the VOI-Project, of which Jenny is an ambassador for the project.



Voi is a village located in Kenya and the people of Ulricehamn, Sweden have come together to help out the orphaned children living in the village. The people in Voi and the people in Ulricehamn are working together to help the children and improve life in the village. The VOI-Project is currently working on a farm, a learning center, and drilling for water within the village.

We started thinking more about the idea and realized that there are many more fans than just the four of us who would also like to say thank you to Jenny. From that idea, Jessi and Anja have created a way for anyone to give to VOI.

And, of course, prayers are also most welcome for the project! The project leaders are drilling for water in the village and haven't yet hit upon a reservoir in the ground. The leaders are also working on gathering funds and materials for a farm and learning center. You can pray for these things, for the project, for those involved in the project, for the children and the families in the village, etc. For everything!
