The concert in Lindome was very cool indeed. Anna and I did get there late, but not too late. About 10 minutes or so, I believe. We walked in and took a seat pretty far in the back because there were a lot of people there. The night was a combo lecture and concert.A general overview of the Lindome lecture and concert: Jenny spoke about her life story, reading several parts from her book. The overarching theme was that throughout everything, the ups and downs, the tops and bottoms, the good and the bad, God has been with her and has gui
ded and directed her through everything she has experienced. She sang several songs from previous sets, such as "I Turn to You", "Give Me the Faith", "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and "Ravine". Some songs, such as GMTF had slightly different sounds compared to other performances.Feedback from the audience: I spoke with some members of the audience in Lindome yesterday after the concert was over to get their thoughts. Thank you to all who answered my questions! Your answers were very thorough and thoughtful.
Here is a summary of their comments:
Annika, Irma and Jon are friends who came to the concert together. Annika thought it was very good, extremely good and said you can really see that Jenny's faith has been there through everything. Jon's favorite song was Ravine. Irma also thought the song was very good and Annika mentioned the fact that she's heard Ravine before but said it is different to hear the story behind it because it makes the song very personal.
Louise and Daniel were speaking with each other just before I introduced myself and asked a few questions. Daniel is the brother to one of the pastors, Andreas. Louise thought the concert was very nice and truly great. She thought the strongest, most memorable part of the evening was when Jenny talked about the difference between happiness and joy. Happiness comes and goes but joy stays. Daniel thought the combination of stories from Jenny's life and songs make for a wonderful whole.
Ingela works in the congregation and her daughter, Mia, was also there for the lecture and concert. Ingela said the concert was totally fantastic. She enjoyed hearing Jenny's stories and music together. Mia said she'll take the experience away with her and think about it for a long time. Ingela heard about the concert because she works in the congregation. She mentioned that the congregation has wanted Jenny and Jakob to perform there for some time now. Mia liked Jenny's honesty, that she spoke about everything and left nothing out. She thought it was a strong part of the lecture and concert. She also thought it was great to see how God has used Jenny's life - and that Jenny talks about it so everyone can hear. Both Ingela and Mia thought the most memorable song was Ravine. They also enjoyed Bridge Over Troubled Water. They were more familiar with this song and said the could sit back and enjoy Jenny's singing and her interpretation more because they knew more about the original song. Ingela also commented that Jenny and Jakob together are a great team. She said there was such a sync between them when they play together. She also thought Jakob was an incredible musician in his own right.
Anna and I were able to speak with Jakob and Jenny after the concert was over. We spoke a little bit about Jenny's upcoming solo album and songs. Jakob loaned us his iPhone and Andreas loaned us his headphones so we were able to listen to Numb and Air of Love. I won't say anything about them here yet, due to some people not wanting to read spoilers.

I captured a large amount of information yesterday at the Lindome performance and shortly, I'll be heading off to grab more info from today's show in Tranås at 6pm.
